It would seem that inconviniences have been on the rise as of late. Luckily enough my weekend had not been terribly busy to begin with. No matter what the challenge that is presented, all of it shall be sorted through in a timely manner to insure that as few people as possible are hindered by the current set backs.

It would seem that with the end of Christmas that our ever familiar prankster seems to have regained their senses. Or at least I hope so. I would hate to think what holiday they would tailor their jokes towards next. Though I don't think it will be a problem anymore.

I will have to say it's good to be back to work without worrying if my quills are going to change or if my papers are going to get ruined.

It would seem that the Christmas Prankster has continued their assault. Yesterday was singing quills. I'd rather not have to hear "Silent Night" every time I pen a memo.

However music is hardly as frustrating as the colored snow that seemed to fall on the hour, every hour today. It would seem that the pranks are becoming more frequent as Christmas is getting closer. I really do hope that who ever is the cause of all this gets caught before then. I'd much rather not have to deal with whatever their grand finale is.

There seems to be a plague of holiday joke going through the office. Today everyone's left drawer started overflowing with tinsel. Removing the tinsel just ended up with more tinsel. In fact I'm certain there was enough by the end of the morning to decorate every wizarding tree in the southwest district.

There has been some talk within the department to start using these journals to perhaps let those within England to know if perhaps there are any delays of any type dealing with the network. It is an idea that does seem to have some merit, however that would mean the addition of someone to perform this function along with other standard warnings when popular floo districts are experiencing problems.

However a colleague of mine suggested that perhaps I ought to try these journal connections, as they seem to be getting quite a following. It's very possible that this might be becoming one of the top ways certain people avoid doing actual work. Perhaps that just means they could handle more work, since they must have budgeted their time efficiently enough to indulge. Perhaps I'll be able to surmise their innate attraction to these devices.
